As part of National Defence's strategy for improving the Quality of Life in the Canadian Forces, a new four-storey 247 suite accommodations building is being built at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick. The modern accommodations will each have a double bed, built-in desk, kitchenette, ensuite washroom with shower, and Internet access. In addition to the bedrooms, there will be common lounges and laundry facilities on each level. The building will also house the office for base accommodations and additional offices to assist those arriving at CFB Gagetown. This project has been designed to achieve a LEED Silver rating.
