The University of Windsor's new Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI) building will be a three-storey structure containing technical and academic laboratories, office space, and teaching facilities. The building will include a green roof, rainwater collection system for reuse in sewage conveyance and process water, and an indoor living wall. The air delivery system within precast concrete hollow core slabs will use the thermal mass of the building structure to reduce peak loads and air volumes.
