Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse

The Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse will be built as a new, approximately 50,500 square metres facility (subject to approval) to consolidate and expand existing court services in the Region of Waterloo. The consolidated courthouse will accommodate 30 courtrooms and 8 conference/settlement rooms for a total of 38 judicial hearing rooms. The Courthouse will also be built to accommodate Courts Administration, the Crown Attorney's functions, the Victim Witness Assistance Program, the Court Bureau of the Waterloo Regional Police Service, police functions including holding cells and security, the Law Association Library and day offices for use by official visitors.
