Summary
This building is a central station for the Vaughan Fire & Rescue Service & for the York Region Emergency Medical Services. The project consists of green building materials, low-flow plumbing fixtures to reduce water usage, and a considerable amount of glazing to ehance daylighting and views. The building also uses metering equipment so that the results of the building's end uses will be compared to that of an exising building of a similar architectural design without green features.
