Upper River Valley Hospital

The new Upper River Valley Hospital is a 70-bed, 17,590 square-metre facility, located in Waterville, New Brunswick. The hospital will serve numerous communities from the region. Comprehensive programming requirements for the facility include: a 24 hour emergency department, surgical suites, labour and delivery rooms, a pharmacy, extra mural area, radiology and diagnostic imaging, renal dialysis, opthamology and audiology. The Upper River Valley Hospital is being designed to meet the requirements of a LEED ® Silver rating. Consequently, it will be one of Canada's most sustainable medical facilities.
