Summary

The overall design objective for the CME Building project is to support the academic and research needs of the University of Alberta, the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering. The project has two components - renewal and modernization of the existing CME Building and the construction of a new infill structure. The existing building is optimized to provide flexible, adaptable wet laboratory space for both teaching and research. The infill structure expansion provides integrated meeting and office space for graduate students, post doctoral fellows, professors and administrators across the Faculty of Engineer.
