Metro Transit Dartmouth Bridge Terminal

New bus passenger terminal for Metro Transit. This will be the largest passenger terminal in the province, serving spaces for 16 buses, and accommodating more than 17,000 passengers per day. The project features a green roofed terminal, providing passengers with comfortable waiting areas inside and outside the building. There are large overhangs and extended canopies, as well as ample treed areas providing shaded areas for waiting passengers; and the site features a layby lane for bus drivers, to minimize bus idling. Ample use of natural daylighting and natural ventilation have been featured, and water use has been minimized thru fixture specification.
