Summary
Good Shepherd School is being built in Airdrie, Alberta. Designed for 350 K-6 students, the school features energy-saving mechanical and electrical systems along with a well-insulated building envelope. Local building materials and those with recycled-content and FSC-certified wood have been selected. Effective ventilation and low VOC-emitting products ensure good indoor air quality. Native plant materials and high-efficiency plumbing fixtures help to reduce water use.
